4. Application of Act

Subject to subsection (2), this Act does not apply to any public authority.
(2)
The Minister may by order declare that a public authority is one to which this Act applies.
(3)
The provisions in Parts 3 and 6 of the Act are in addition to, and do not derogate from, anything in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

“data” means —(a)information relating to a person’s creditworthiness, including (to avoid doubt) customer information of a member of a licensed credit bureau; or(b)information relating to a person that is processed by a licensed credit bureau in the course of its credit reporting business,as the case may be;
