Regulation 5
Time for pleading guilty
An accused who wishes to plead guilty to a prescribed offence in the manner set out in section 226 of the Code must do so —
(a)
after the offer of composition in respect of the prescribed offence has expired; and (b)not later than 5 p.m. on the date on which the accused is required by summons, or a prescribed notice under section 133 of the Road Traffic Act (Cap. 276), to attend court in connection with the prescribed offence.
