Prescribed fees

For the purposes of section 377(6) of the Code, the prescribed fee for an application for a copy each of the record of proceedings and the grounds of decision is as follows:

(a)

if the notice of appeal is lodged in relation to a judgment, sentence or order of a Magistrate’s Court or District Court —

(i)

$50; and

(ii)

in the case of an application for an additional copy of the record of proceedings or the grounds of decision, $0.50 for each page thereof, subject to a minimum fee of $10 for each copy of the record of proceedings or the grounds of decision;

(b)

if the notice of appeal is lodged in relation to a judgment, sentence or order of the General Division of the High Court, $0.50 for each page of a copy of the record of proceedings and the grounds of decision, subject to a minimum fee of $10.

Subregulation 2

For the purposes of section 426(1) of the Code, the prescribed fee for an application for a copy of any judgment, sentence, order, deposition or other part of the record of proceedings in a criminal case or matter is the sum of —

(a)

$5, payable at the time of the application, for each type of document requested in the application; and

(b)

$0.50 for each page thereof,subject to a total minimum fee of $15 for each type of document requested.
