This Notification is the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Law Enforcement Agency) Notification 2026 and comes into operation on 12 February 2026.

reg 2Prescribed law enforcement agency

The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau is prescribed as a law enforcement agency for the purposes of section 112(1)(c) of the Code.
