Clause 70
In the Police Force Act 2004, in section 56(1) —
(a)
in paragraph (b), delete “or” at the end;
(b)
in paragraph (c), replace the comma at the end with “; or”; and
(c)
after paragraph (c), insert —“(d)in connection with providing assistance in preserving order, or protecting persons from injury or death, and public property from damage or loss (whether arising from criminal acts or in any other way), as part of any arrangement for co‑located border clearance and railway security checks under the Cross‑Border Railways (Border Control Co‑location) Act 2026,”.
