The Crown Lands Ordinance is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 4 thereof the following new section: —“Presumption as to grant of estate in perpetuity4A. Where any grant of land has been issued under the provisions of subsection (1) of section 4 of this Ordinance prior to the 1st day of March 1961, such grant shall be deemed to confer an estate in perpetuity on the grantee thereof.”.

Schedule A to the Crown Lands Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the comma and words “, his heirs and assigns for ever” appearing in the twenty-fifth and twenty-sixth lines thereof and substituting therefor the words “for an estate in perpetuity”.
