Citation and commencement
These Rules are the Endangered Species (Import and Export) (Prescribed Information for Section 5(1)) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 1 November 2022.

Endangered Species (Import and Export) (Prescribed Information for Section 5(1)) Rules 2022 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation ESIEA-S856-2022 2006, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2006.
Citation and commencement
These Rules are the Endangered Species (Import and Export) (Prescribed Information for Section 5(1)) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 1 November 2022.
Prescribed information for section 5(1) of Act
For the purposes of section 5(1)(a) —
the prescribed information for a valid CITES permit or certificate issued by the competent authority of a country (being a Party to CITES) for the export or re‑export of the scheduled species is set out in the First Schedule; and
the prescribed information for any other similar document issued by the competent authority of a country (not being a Party to CITES) for the export or re‑export of the scheduled species is set out in the Second Schedule.
For the purposes of section 5(1)(b) —
the prescribed information for a valid CITES permit or certificate issued by the competent authority of a country or final destination (each being a Party to CITES) for the import of the scheduled species is set out in the First Schedule; and
the prescribed information for any other similar document issued by the competent authority of a country or final destination (each not being a Party to CITES) for the import of the scheduled species is set out in the Second Schedule.
