36. Amendment of section 47

In the Gas Act, in section 47(4) —

replace “subsection (1)(c) or (e)” with “subsection (1)(c) or subsection (1)(e) (in relation to subsection (1)(c))”;

after “mentioned in subsection (1)(c),”, insert “or caused or permitted any other person to engage in such alteration or tampering,”; and

after “so altered or tampered with the meter or meter installation”, insert “, or to have so caused or permitted the other person to engage in such alteration or tampering, as the case may be”.
