Jurisdiction of District and Magistrates’ Courts

A District Court or Magistrate’s Court shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act or any of its rules and may notwithstanding anything in the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68) impose the full punishment prescribed by this Act or such rules.
