Definitions
In this Order —“aggregate exceedance duration”, in relation to any specified 12‑month period, means the aggregate duration of occasions during the prescribed sessions in that specified 12-month period on which the noise levels emitted from the relevant premises exceed the permissible noise levels when both the Combined Cycle Gas Turbines and the Open Cycle Gas Turbines are in operation in the relevant premises;“PacificLight Power Pte. Ltd.” means the company incorporated under the Companies Act 1967 as PacificLight Power Pte. Ltd. (UEN 199901043R);“permissible noise levels” means the maximum permissible noise levels prescribed in regulation 3(1)(b) (read with regulation 3(2) and (3)) of the Regulations;“prescribed session” means any of the following:
between 7 p.m. and 11.59 p.m. (both times inclusive) of any day;
between 12 a.m. and 6.59 a.m. (both times inclusive) of any day;“Regulations” means the Environmental Protection and Management (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations (Rg 1);“relevant premises” means the factory premises occupied by PacificLight Power Pte. Ltd. and located at 47 Jurong Island Highway, Singapore 627626;“specified 12-month period” means the period starting from 7 May 2025 and ending on 6 May 2026 (both dates inclusive) and each subsequent period of 12 months starting on 7 May of a year and ending on 6 May of the succeeding year (both dates inclusive).
