Exemption
Subregulation 1
Section 17(1)(a) of the Act does not apply to an individual who deposits, drops, places or throws ashes in an area of the ash scattering facility which is designated by the operator of the facility for that purpose.
Subregulation 2
Section 17(1)(b) of the Act does not apply to an individual who keeps or leaves ashes in an area of the ash scattering facility which is designated by the operator of the facility for that purpose.
