Littering
Subregulation 1
No person shall throw or deposit, or cause or permit to be thrown or deposited, any dust, dirt, ashes, refuse, offal, rubbish or other matter or thing from or out of the first floor and upwards of any building to the street, courtyard or ground below.
Subregulation 2
No person dwelling on the ground floor or in the basement of any building shall throw or deposit, or cause or permit to be thrown or deposited, any dust, dirt, ashes, refuse, offal, rubbish or other matter or thing anywhere other than in a refuse bin or receptacle.
Subregulation 3
For the purposes of this regulation —
Definition
“first floor” means the horizontal stratum of a building which is immediately above the ground floor;
Definition
“ground floor” means the lowest horizontal stratum of a building other than the basement.
