Regulation 2

Definitions

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —“relevant work experience”, in relation to an Environmental Control Officer, means practical experience in any of the following areas of work:

(a)

cleaning services;

(b)

environmental engineering; (c)environmental health;

(d)

estate management;

(e)

pest control;

(f)

waste management;

(g)

any other area that, in the opinion of the Director‑General, is within the scope of an Environmental Control Officer’s duties under the Act;“specified construction site” means any construction site to which section 62 of the Act applies;“specified premises” means any premises or class of premises designated under section 62A(2) of the Act as specified premises.
