Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 August 2026.

Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation S475 2026, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2026.
Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 August 2026.
Amendment of regulation 13
In the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations (Rg 11), in regulation 13 —
replace paragraphs (5) and (6) with —“(5) Every toxic industrial waste collector’s licence is, unless suspended or cancelled under section 99(15) of the Act, valid for a period of 5 years after the date the licence is granted or renewed, as the case may be.
Subject to paragraph (6A), the following fees are payable in respect of a toxic industrial waste collector’s licence:
for the grant of the licence — $700;
for the renewal of the licence — $480.
Paragraph (6) does not apply to a person if, at the time the toxic industrial waste collector’s licence is granted or renewed, the person holds a valid general waste collector’s licence granted or renewed under the Environmental Public Health (General Waste Collection) Regulations (Rg 12).”; and
in paragraph (7), replace “$105” with “$380”.
Saving provisions
Despite regulation 2(a), regulation 13(5) and (6) of the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations, as in force immediately before 1 August 2026, continues to apply to the grant or renewal of a toxic industrial waste collector’s licence if the application for the grant or renewal of the licence is made before that date.
Despite regulation 2(b), where, before 1 August 2026, a person makes an application for the amendment of a toxic industrial waste collector’s licence under regulation 13(7) of the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations, the fee payable for the amendment of the licence is $105 per application.
