Estate Agents (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2026

These Regulations are the Estate Agents (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 October 2026.

In the Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 641/2010), in regulation 3 —

in paragraph (2), replace “licence and registration fees” with “annual licence and registration fees”;

in paragraph (2)(a), after “grant”, insert “or renewal”;

in paragraph (2), replace sub‑paragraph (b) with —“(b)starting from the calendar year after the grant or renewal of the estate agent’s licence or registration of the salesperson, for each calendar year during the period of the estate agent’s licence or registration of the salesperson.”; and

delete paragraph (2A).

In the Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2010, in the Schedule —

in items 3 to 9, replace “The grant or renewal of an estate agent’s licence the duration of which starts on or after 1 January 2019” with “Annual licence fee for an estate agent’s licence”; and

in item 10, replace “Registration or renewal of” with “Annual registration fee for”.
