4A. Advisory committees

The Minister may appoint one or more advisory committees to provide advice to the Authority with regard to the performance of any of its functions in relation to any film.
Before making any decision under this Act in relation to a film and for the purpose of forming an opinion on which to base such decision, the Authority may consult with the relevant advisory committee in respect of the film but, in making such decision, is not bound by such consultation.

“film” means —(a)a cinematograph film or video recording;(b)a video game; or(c)any other form of recording from which a moving visual image (except as provided otherwise in subsection (5)) including a computer generated image, can be produced and viewed (together with its soundtrack),and includes any trailer for a film and any part of a film;
