Amendment of section 36
Section 36 of the principal Act is hereby amended —
(a)
by deleting the expression “paragraph (b) of” appearing in the first and second lines of subsection (2) thereof;
(b)
by inserting immediately after the word “duty” appearing in the fifth line of subsection (2) thereof the words “of securing compliance with the provisions of this Act or any order made under this Act or any other written law relating to finance companies in Singapore or with the duty”; and
(c)
by deleting the expression “paragraph (b) of” appearing in the second line of subsection (3) thereof.
