Clause 18

When a licence is granted to two or more persons carrying on business in partnership, every such person shall be liable for any act and omission of the other or others of them unless he proves to the satisfaction of the Court that he has no knowledge of, or that he in no way directly or indirectly contributed to, the commission of the act or the making of the omission by such other or others.
