Remedial action for failing to review drinking water quality management plan
Subregulation 1
Where the Agency considers that a review of a drinking water quality management plan under regulation 13 was not carried out, the Agency may in a written notice, direct the WQMP water provider concerned to carry out the review and give to the Agency a report of the further review by the date specified in that written notice.
Subregulation 2
A person to whom a written notice is given under paragraph (1) commits an offence if the person neglects or refuses to comply with the written notice, and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $8,000.
Subregulation 3
Paragraph (2) does not apply if the person has a reasonable excuse.
