reg 1Citation and periods in force

This Order is the Foreign National Emblems (Control of Display) (Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix — Exemption) Order 2026.

This Order is in force for the following periods: (a)between 14 September 2026 and 31 October 2026 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

between 1 September 2027 and 31 October 2027 (both dates inclusive);

(c)

between 1 September 2028 and 31 October 2028 (both dates inclusive).

Subregulation 1

This Order is the Foreign National Emblems (Control of Display) (Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix — Exemption) Order 2026.

Subregulation 2

This Order is in force for the following periods: (a)between 14 September 2026 and 31 October 2026 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

between 1 September 2027 and 31 October 2027 (both dates inclusive);

(c)

between 1 September 2028 and 31 October 2028 (both dates inclusive).

reg 2Exemption

Section 3 of the Act does not apply to the display of the flags specified in the third column of the Schedule, if the following conditions are met:

(a)

the display of the flags is in connection with the applicable event specified in the first column of that Schedule;

(b)

the display of the flags is at the venue specified in the second column of that Schedule;

(c)

the display of the flags is not done in any manner which may —

(i)

cause harassment, alarm or distress;

(ii)

excite disaffection;

(iii)

provoke or cause a breach of the peace; or

(iv)

constitute any offence under Singapore law;

(d)

the design of each flag is not distorted or otherwise modified, including but not limited to the addition of any graphic, image or word on the flag.

Schedules
