Definitions
Subregulation 1
In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires —
Definition
“appealable decision” has the meaning given by section 98 of the Act;
Definition
“applicant” means a person making a reconsideration application;
Definition
“appropriate form”, for a reconsideration application, means —
if the Authority is the initial decision‑maker of the decision that is the subject of the reconsideration application — the relevant form that is set out on the website at https://www.gra.gov.sg; (b)if the Commissioner of Police is the initial decision‑maker of the decision that is the subject of the reconsideration application — the relevant form that is set out on the website at https://www.police.gov.sg; or
in the event of a malfunction or failure, or an imminent malfunction or failure, of the website in paragraph (a) or (b) or other exceptional circumstances — the relevant form that is made available by the initial decision‑maker free of charge and for this purpose;

“authorised representative”, for an applicant, includes an advocate and solicitor or other legal representative of the applicant;
Definition
“contact address”, for an applicant, means any of the following nominated by the applicant for the receiving of documents under this Part:
a residential address in Singapore; (b)a place of business or work in Singapore;
an email address;

“identity particulars” means —
for an individual — his or her full name, and the number of his or her passport or other identity document; or
for an entity —
the full name of the entity;
the country in which the entity was incorporated or otherwise formed; and
the Unique Entity Number (UEN) of the entity, where available;

“initial decision‑maker” has the meaning given by section 98 of the Act;
Definition
“reconsideration application” means an application under section 99 of the Act;
Definition
“working day” means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.
Subregulation 2
Where the time specified by an initial decision‑maker or this Part for doing any act expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the act is in time if done on the next following working day.
