—(1) The Minister may give to the Authority any direction under section 5 of the Public Sector (Governance) Act 2018.(2) To avoid doubt, the Minister is entitled —(a)to have information in the possession of the Authority; and(b)where the information is in or on a document, to have, and make and retain copies of, that document.(3) For the purposes of subsection (2), the Minister may request the Authority —(a)to provide information to the Minister; or(b)to give the Minister access to information.(4) The Authority must comply with a request under subsection (3).(5) In this section —“document” includes any tape, disk or other device or medium on which information is recorded or stored;“information” means information specified, or of a description specified, by the Minister that relates to the functions of the Authority.
