28. Evidence before Registrar
Feedback & supportThe Registrar may, for the purposes of any proceedings before the Registrar under this Act —

“Registrar” means the Registrar of Geographical Indications appointed under section 17 and includes any Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar of Geographical Indications appointed under that section;
(a)
summon witnesses;
(b)
receive evidence on oath, whether orally or otherwise; and
(c)
require the production of documents or articles.
