7. Amendment of section 79

Section 79(5A) of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “public officer” in paragraph (c), the words “(including an employee appointed under section 9(4) of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 138A))”.
