Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 August 2026.
New regulation 2A
In the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Regulations 1998, after regulation 2, insert —“Prescribed website of Secretariat of Basel Convention2A. For the purposes of section 5(2)(b) of the Act, the prescribed website of the Secretariat of the Basel Convention is https://www.basel.int.”.
