Regulation 35
Tests on persons must be conducted by licensed persons or accredited laboratories
Where a licensee requires a person to undergo any test in the course of the licensee’s provision of the human tissue banking service, the licensee must —
(a)
ensure that the test is conducted by —
(i)
a person that holds a licence under the Act authorising the person to provide a clinical laboratory service; or
(ii)
a person who operates a clinical laboratory outside Singapore that is accredited by an accreditation body approved by the Director-General; and
(b)
retain a copy of any clinical laboratory report issued by the person mentioned in paragraph (a)(i) or (ii) for the test.
