Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) Order 2026 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation S441 2026, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2026.
Citation and commencement
This Order is the Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 July 2026.
Non-citizens exempt from having Singapore visa
The following non‑citizens (other than a non‑citizen who holds a valid passport from a country that is approved by the Minister under section 9B(2) of the Act) are exempt from section 9B(1) of the Act:
a permanent resident of Singapore;
any head of state of a foreign country who is a guest of the Government;
a non‑citizen who holds a valid laissez‑passer issued by the United Nations;
a member of any visiting force within the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Visiting Forces Act 1960;
a crew member of an aircraft that arrives in Singapore from a place outside Singapore (whether in a journey to Singapore, or in the course of a journey from a place outside Singapore to another place outside Singapore);
a non‑citizen (excluding a non‑citizen holding a pass that entitles him or her to enter Singapore multiple times) who holds a valid ordinary passport issued by the government of the People’s Republic of China;
a non‑citizen who is —
duly accredited to Singapore as a diplomatic or consular representative of the government of the Republic of Poland, and holds a valid diplomatic passport, official passport, service passport or public affairs passport issued by the government of that country;
a staff member of any diplomatic or consular representative of the government of the Republic of Poland, and holds a valid diplomatic passport, official passport, service passport or public affairs passport issued by the government of that country; or
a spouse or dependent child of a person mentioned in sub‑paragraph (i) or (ii);
a non‑citizen who holds a valid passport that is issued by the government of any foreign country specified in the Schedule, the passport being of the type specified opposite that country;
a non‑citizen arriving in Singapore in special circumstances where an emergency has affected the non‑citizen’s ability to apply for a Singapore visa.
Revocation
Revoke the Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) Order (O 4).
