Citation
This Notification may be cited as the Income Tax (Exemption of Payments for Economic and Technological Development) Notification 2011.
Exemption
There shall be exempt from tax all sums payable by the following companies to the International Olympic Committee for the rights granted by the International Olympic Committee under the respective Memoranda of Understanding between the companies and that Committee in respect of the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games 2010 held in Singapore from 14th August 2010 to 26th August 2010:
Singapore Telecommunications Limited under the Memorandum of Understanding dated 18th November 2009;
MediaCorp Pte. Ltd. under the Memorandum of Understanding dated 30th November 2009; and
StarHub Cable Vision Ltd. under the Memorandum of Understanding dated 30th November 2009.
