49. Exemption from vaccination

The Director-General of Health, or any officer of the Communicable Diseases Agency who is designated by the Director-General of Health for the purpose, may grant the postponement of or exemption from any vaccination required under this Part as he or she thinks fit.

“Director-General” means the Director‑General of Public Health appointed under section 3(1) of the Environmental Public Health Act 1987;
