17. Resignation from office

A member may resign his or her office by written notice to the Minister.

“member”, in relation to the Authority, means a member of the Authority appointed under section 11, and includes a temporary member appointed under section 15(2);
(2)
The resignation is effective —
(a)
on the expiry of one month after the date on which the Minister receives the notice; or
(b)
on any later date specified in the notice.
