75. False or misleading information, statement or document, etc.

A person must not make any statement, or provide any information or document, under this Act that the person knows to be false or misleading in any material particular.

“document” includes any device or medium on which information is recorded or stored;
(2)
A person must not intentionally alter, suppress, dispose or destroy any document or information which the person is required to provide under this Act.
(3)
A person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
