Regulation 55
Saving and transitional provision for amendment of Stamp Duties Act
Despite section 516 of the Act, section 36(h) of the Stamp Duties Act (Cap. 312) as in force immediately before 30 July 2020 continues to apply to or in relation to —
(a)
any bankrupt adjudged bankrupt pursuant to a bankruptcy application made before that date; or
(b)
any debtor in respect of whom an order for the administration in bankruptcy of the estate of a deceased debtor is made under section 148 of the Bankruptcy Act pursuant to an application made before that date.
