Short title and commencement

This Act may be cited as the Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1975, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Clause 2

Amendment of section 2

Subsection (7) of section 2 of the Insurance Act is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting immediately after the word “Act” appearing in the third line thereof the words “or company engaged primarily in the business of export credit insurance”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “or organization” appearing in the fourth and in the last lines thereof and substituting therefor in each case the expression “, organization or company”.
