Clause 38

Amendment of section 59

Section 59 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “detained” wherever it appears in subsection (1) and substituting in each case the word “seized”;

(b)

by deleting the words “either personally or by post” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “personally, by post or (with the prior consent of the addressee) by email”; and

(c)

by deleting the word “detention” in the section heading and substituting the word “seizure”.
