Action in case of emergency

In cases of sudden emergency in a place of detention, the Superintendent of the place of detention must —
(a)
take such action as may be necessary in the circumstances;
(b)
enter the particulars of the emergency and the action taken in the records kept by the Superintendent; and
(c)
promptly make a report of the emergency and the action taken to the officer-in-charge of the place of detention.
