Amendment of section 12
of International Arbitration (Amendment) Bill

Clause 4
Section 12(1) of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (h); and
(b)
by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (i) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(j)enforcing any obligation of confidentiality —
(i)
that the parties to an arbitration agreement have agreed to in writing, whether in the arbitration agreement or in any other document;
(ii)
under any written law or rule of law; or
(iii)
under the rules of arbitration (including the rules of arbitration of an institution or organisation) agreed to or adopted by the parties.”.
