Citation and commencement
This Order is the Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for Law) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 March 2024.

Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for Law) Order 2024 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation IA-S136-2024 1965, currently marked in force and first recorded in 1965.
Citation and commencement
This Order is the Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for Law) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 March 2024.
Definitions
In this Order —“MinLaw political office holder” means —
any Second Minister for Law;
any Minister of State assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for Law; and
any Parliamentary Secretary assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for Law;“Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Law” means any Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Law.
“MinLaw political office holder” means —
any Second Minister for Law;
any Minister of State assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for Law; and
any Parliamentary Secretary assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for Law;
“Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Law” means any Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Law.
Delegations to political office holders
The Minister for Law, with the Prime Minister’s approval, delegates the functions under the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the First Schedule to the persons specified in the third column of the First Schedule, subject to the conditions (if any) specified in the fourth column of the First Schedule.
Delegations to other persons
The Minister for Law delegates the functions under the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Second Schedule to the persons specified in the third column of the Second Schedule, subject to the conditions (if any) specified in the fourth column of the Second Schedule.
