reg 1Citation and commencement

This Order is the Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for Manpower) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 March 2024.

reg 2Definitions

In this Order —“Deputy Commissioner for Labour” means any Deputy Commissioner for Labour;“MOM Permanent Secretary” means any Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Manpower.

“Deputy Commissioner for Labour” means any Deputy Commissioner for Labour;

“MOM Permanent Secretary” means any Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Manpower.

reg 3Delegations to political office holders

The Minister for Manpower, with the Prime Minister’s approval, delegates the functions under the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the First Schedule to the persons specified in the third column of the First Schedule, subject to the conditions (if any) specified in the fourth column of the First Schedule.

reg 4Delegations to other persons

The Minister for Manpower delegates the functions under the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Second Schedule to the persons specified in the third column of the Second Schedule, subject to the conditions (if any) specified in the fourth column of the Second Schedule.
