Citation and commencement
This Order is the Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for National Development) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 March 2024.
Definitions
In this Order —“MND” means the Ministry of National Development;“MND Permanent Secretary” means any Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of National Development;“MND political office holder” means —
any Second Minister for National Development;
any Minister of State assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for National Development; and
any Parliamentary Secretary assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for National Development.
“MND Permanent Secretary” means any Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of National Development;
“MND political office holder” means —
any Second Minister for National Development;
any Minister of State assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for National Development; and
any Parliamentary Secretary assigned by the Prime Minister to assist the Minister for National Development.
Delegations to political office holders
The Minister for National Development, with the Prime Minister’s approval, delegates the functions under the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the First Schedule to the persons specified in the third column of the First Schedule, subject to the conditions (if any) specified in the fourth column of the First Schedule.
Delegations to other persons
The Minister for National Development delegates the functions under the provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Second Schedule to the persons specified in the third column of the Second Schedule, subject to the conditions (if any) specified in the fourth column of the Second Schedule.
