reg 1Citation and commencement

This Order is the Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)) (Amendment) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 October 2026.

reg 2Amendment of paragraph 1

In the Interpretation (Delegations by Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)) Order 2026 (G.N. No. S 621/2026) (called in this Order the principal Order), in paragraph 1, replace “Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)” with “Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)”.

reg 3Amendment of paragraph 2

In the principal Order, in paragraph 2 —

(a)

replace “MTI” with “METI”;

(b)

in sub‑paragraph (a), replace “Second Minister for Trade and Industry” with “Second Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry”; and

(c)

in sub‑paragraphs (b) and (c), replace “Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)” with “Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)”.

In the principal Order, in paragraph 3, replace “Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)” with “Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry)”.

In the principal Order, in the Schedule, in item 1, in paragraphs (1) to (9), in the third column, replace “MTI” with “METI”.
