6. Collector to proceed to acquire after notification
Feedback & supportUpon the publication of a notification under section 5(1) declaring that any land is needed for the purpose specified in the notification, the Minister or an officer authorised by the Minister in that behalf must direct the Collector to take proceedings for the acquisition of the land.

“land” includes any airspace, subterranean space, foreshore, and benefits to arise out of land and things attached to the earth or permanently fastened to anything attached to the earth;
