103. Grant of right of way
Feedback & supportIn an instrument purporting to create a right of way over registered land, the expressions “right of carriage way” and “right of footway” have the same effect as if there had been inserted in lieu thereof the words respectively contained in Parts 1 and 2 of the Schedule.

“instrument” includes a transfer, lease, mortgage, transmission application, charge and any other application, or any other document in writing relating to any disposition, devolution or acquisition of land or any claim to or vesting of interest in land;
The expressions mentioned in subsection (1) do not have the meaning attributed to them by this section if any alteration is made in the expressions otherwise than by means of a proviso thereto.
