cl 84Amendment of section 5

In the Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) Act 2020, in section 5(3), replace paragraphs (a) and (b) with —“(a)where the person is an individual —

(i)

to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both; but(ii)where the individual is a repeat offender, to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 24 months or to both; or

(b)

in any other case —

(i)

to a fine not exceeding $40,000; but(ii)where the person is a repeat offender, to a fine not exceeding $80,000.”.
