Clause 10

Offence if racial content restraining order not complied with

A person who fails to comply with a racial content restraining order made against the person (including one as confirmed, varied or extended) —

(a)

commits an offence; and

(b)

shall be liable on conviction —

(i)

to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both; and

(ii)

in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.
