reg 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations are the Maintenance of Racial Harmony (Compoundable Offences) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 15 September 2026.

reg 2Compoundable offences

Each of the following offences is prescribed as a compoundable offence that may be compounded in accordance with section 46 of the Act:

(a)

an offence under section 7(1)(a) of the Act, except a continuing offence;

(b)

an offence under section 7(1)(b), (c) or (d) of the Act;

(c)

an offence under paragraph 13(2) of the Schedule to the Maintenance of Racial Harmony (Measures against Foreign Influence) Regulations 2026 (G.N. No. S 600/2026);

(d)

an offence under regulation 10(2)(a) or 11(8)(a) or (b) of the Maintenance of Racial Harmony (Restraining Orders) Regulations 2026 (G.N. No. S 599/2026).
