cl 28Amendment of section 76

In the MPA Act, in section 76, replace subsection (1) with —“(1) The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, make regulations —

(a)

to regulate pilotage in any pilotage district and the operation of any remote pilotage centre used in relation to remote pilotage;

(b)

for the maintenance of good conduct and discipline of authorised pilots; and

(c)

to prescribe the duties of authorised pilots in relation to piloting any vessel and for related matters.”.
