cl 26Amendment of section 41

In the MPA Act, in section 41(1) —

(a)

after paragraph (f), insert —“(fa)regulating, directing and controlling the operations or use of vessels within the territorial waters of Singapore, including the circumstances and the conditions under which vessels are permitted to be controlled or operated remotely or independently of human intervention, whether fully or partially;

(fb)

regulating and controlling the operation of any remote operations centre;”;

(b)

in paragraph (i), after “use”, insert “, operation”; and

(c)

in paragraph (m), replace “manning” with “operating or manning”.
