cl 47Related and consequential amendment to Regulation of Imports and Exports Act 1995

In the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act 1995, in section 25, replace subsection (1) with —“(1) For the purpose of exercising the powers conferred by sections 17 to 22, an authorised officer or a senior authorised officer (as the case may be) may, without warrant, enter upon —

(a)

any islet, landing place, wharf, dock, railway or quay;

(b)

any premises of a provider of any regulated service involving port operations licensed or exempted under the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act 1996; or

(c)

any premises of any airport operated under a licence or exemption under the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009.”.
