Regulation 27
Power to obtain information, etc.
Subregulation 1
The Authority may at any time require any person —
to furnish any information within the person’s knowledge; or
to produce for inspection any document or record within the person’s possession,that the Authority believes on reasonable grounds to be connected with any suspected contravention of these Regulations or to be otherwise relevant to the administration or enforcement of these Regulations; and the person must comply with the requirement.
Subregulation 2
Where any document or record required by the Authority is kept in electronic form, then —
the power of the Authority to require such document or record to be produced for inspection includes the power to require a copy of the document or record to be made available for inspection in legible form; and
the power of the Authority to inspect such document or record includes the power to require any person on the premises in question to give such assistance as the Authority may reasonably require to enable the Authority to inspect and make copies of the document or record in legible form or to make records of the information contained in the document or record.
