25. Protection from personal liability
Feedback & supportNo action, suit or other legal proceeding shall lie personally against the Director, any officer of the Authority or any other person acting under the direction of the Director or the Authority for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in the execution or purported execution of this Act.

“Director” means the Director of Marine appointed under section 4 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 and includes the Deputy Director of Marine appointed under that section;
